Paint detackifiers and coagulants

Difficult coatings such as UV curing, clear, high solids, enamel, acrylic and DD coatings, along with many others, can be treated effectively.

The products have exceptionally high absorption capacity and perform well with water soluble coatings and stains, allowing solvent based and water-based coatings to be processed in the same spray booth.

EFAGOL has powerful surface activity and detackifies paint particles by encapsulation. The coagulated, detackified paint floats to the surface for manual removal or removal by a skimmer.

EFAGOL is neutral to mildly alkaline and does not increase salinity in the paint rinsing water. It prevents pumps, pipes and rinsing openings from clogging. The spray system stays clean and the rinsing water remains clear and odourless. EFAGOL products differ in chemical structure, coagulation behaviour and additives. A suitable product is available for most coating systems.

Preferably dose EFAGOL using a timed, pneumatically driven dosing pump. The laboratory determined quantity may need to be added at short intervals to maintain an optimum coagulant concentration in the circulating water.

Transport and store frost free. Reseal opened packaging promptly after use. Rinse spilled material away with plenty of water; it may create a slipping hazard.

EFAGOL is described as outside hazardous substances legislation, non-toxic and non-harmful. If it contacts eyes or skin, rinse or wash with plenty of water. Absorb spills with sand or absorbent granules, then clean with plenty of water. Read the safety data sheets carefully and observe all safety instructions.
