Processes
Emulsions arise in adhesive production and machining, for example from drilling and grinding machines. Wastewater containing emulsions and oils can be treated with a formulated powder, liquid products or, in some cases, a combination.
Chemicals
EFA Chemie has developed an emulsion breaker that treats waste emulsions successfully without complex technical processes. It destabilises the emulsion, enabling separation of contaminants from clean water. Emulsion breakers and flocculants are widely used to clean these wastewater streams.
