Paint detackifiers and coagulants
These products encapsulate contaminants such as solvent based or water miscible paint particles and other organic and inorganic substances, allowing their removal. Solvents in the circulating water are simultaneously bound by absorption. This considerably extends water service life and reduces disposal and plant maintenance costs.
Emulsion breakers
Many industries generate waste emulsions and oily wastewater that require chemical or physical treatment before discharge. EFA Chemie’s emulsion breaker treats these streams without complex technical processes. It destabilises emulsions to separate contaminants from clean water.
Reaction separation agents
For organically contaminated wastewater containing heavy metals or solvents. Particularly effective for emulsions, dispersions, wash water and process water, including water based paint systems.
Flocculation aids
Concentrated liquid or granulated flocculation aids for use with other EFA products.
Defoamers
For water-based paint systems, plastic dispersions and solvent based coatings. Applications include wastewater plants, cooling and evaporation systems, biogas and food production.
Biocides and odour control agents
For controlling odorous gases, slime formation and bacterial deterioration in water streams, biological treatment plants and car washes.
Heavy metal treatment
For electroplating, electronics and leather processing, as well as waste incineration and automotive production. A speciality range of complex breakers treats complexed metals.
