A large international paint stripping company has again selected Chemtrade International B.V. for a new wastewater treatment plant.
Following the complete plant supplied to its Dutch site in 2020, the strong relationship led to a request in 2023 for a solution at its sister company in Poland.
The Polish site generates electroplating rinsing water from chemical degreasing, a high pressure spray recycling system and floor cleaning. This water was previously collected for external treatment.
Extensive laboratory and pilot trials led to a proposal for a collection tank with homogenisation and pH correction. Periodic batches then undergo fully automatic treatment, with a belt filter dewatering the sludge.
After pH correction, a single formulated EFAPUR product treats the water. This minimises operating effort and makes the process accessible to all operators.
Thorough preparation and regular consultation resulted in purchase of an EFAMAT PC600 batch plant with pH control and a 2 m³ preliminary buffer.
The plant has been handed over and operates as jointly planned. No water now requires external treatment; cleaned water is reused for high pressure washing. The customer is very satisfied with the value delivered and the open communication.
